River of updates
I absolutely love learning but I realize that Learning is Overrated. My realization comes after analyzing Henry Ford’s mindset and approach to building one of the largest automobile manufacturer in the world. As it turns out, the solutions to my problems are found in asking who not how.
Creativity realm
I went on the best artist’s date right before my city went into full lockdown. I felt like a kid again as I explored Target and other retail stores’ books and toys section. There were so many interesting little things!
I wonder why I stopped appreciating and buying those card games, creativity books, or bubble guns. Finally, I bought these to keep me active during 6 weeks lockdown. When was the last time you did something you actually enjoy and made you feel like a kid?
Wall of Fame
That demo answered my question: “How do I write something that I’m excited about but don’t have notes on?”
Charlie started by telling her own personal story, and then our group (mentees) acted as a sounding board to come up with parallels, connections, examples, support, or universal truths that we recognize in her story.
The point is, our experiences are relatable and personalized, so that should be our starting point in writing.
