Chasing happiness is a bad idea. This wise dude, Aristotle shed a light on why that is the case.
According to him, happiness is a byproduct of a meaningful life. He argues that if we are fulfilling our highest function, it’s difficult not to be happy. In short, happiness isn’t a feeling but an activity. Genuine happiness emerges from working on ourselves and our aims.
I also got a revelation when reading his works. He suggested that time is a good partner in discovering out own nature and the world. It might be obvious to you, but as someone who just finished university and asked to choose a career, the quote made me realize that I can’t know everything about myself right now. I have to give myself more time to discover what I am about.
What Dance Schools’ Marketing is Missing Pt. 1
The Salsa Foundation is the biggest dance school in Australia, with 60,000 students attending the Beginner Salsa Class, and over 1,000 students attending classes each week. Let’s take a look at how they operate using The Business Model Canvas.

Toying with the Internet 🧸
Currently I’m helping a traditional toy wholesaler transition their business online. As of now, the biggest players in the industry haven’t occupied the e-commerce landscape, and the company’s previous efforts have brought in little results.
My plan:
Use advertising to boost initial brand building and awareness,
Creating catalogues on famous e-commerce platforms and social media,
Learn by trial and error i.e. which platform to use and which messaging resonates
The challenge:
Figuring out the brand’s identity and doing customer research. Creating content is easy but if it doesn’t resonate with the potential customers then all the work just goes to waste. As I’m trying to use advertising, targeting the right people is going to impact the ROI greatly.

What's the one thing that brings you joy?
I would answer basketball but it’s only fun when playing in a game with 6 or more people. Finding 6 people to play whenever I want ain’t easy, so I was looking for things that I can do alone and only takes up little of my time everyday.
Now I'm learning guitar and creating book arts, and I realize that I should allow myself to do more things just for fun. Do you have one thing that brings joy?
